"Body Matters" Gallery show

Hello! I'm still continuing my work and entering shows. I have a piece in a show speaking of the importance of body from a feminist perspective. I'm proud to be a part of this show and want everyone to enjoy. Come by and have fun and find my piece! I will post photos during the reception (Of course I will be there as well).

This art show is sponsored by ETSU’s Alpha Theta chapter of Iota Iota Iota, Women’s Studies Honor Society. The public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be provided at the reception. This art show is to celebrate and raise funds for the Knoxville Planned Parenthood and its continued dedication providing safe and confidential reproductive healthcare to East Tennesseans and beyond. “Body Matters” highlights the importance of bodily autonomy from a feminist perspective. This exhibit aims to showcase how bodies can be both private and public, physical and spiritual, autonomous and policed while encouraging the viewer to question their ideas about 'the body' as an anatomical form, a vessel for gender expression, and a figure in group consciousness.
